I love working one-on-one with clients to create custom pieces that feel personal and intentional. Every commission begins with a conversation and evolves through sketches and collaboration into a work made just for you.
The following works represent a selection of recent commissions.
Shibui, 2025
(160cm diameter, acrylic on MDF)
A minimalist, Japanese-inspired commissioned work created for a private residence. Executed on site during the refurbishment process, the piece was developed directly on a fixed MDF panel, navigating spatial and technical constraints while responding closely to the surrounding environment. Careful attention was given to material behavior, surface preparation, and tonal balance, resulting in a quiet, restrained work aligned with both the space and the client’s vision.
Touch of God, 2025
(100x120cm, acrylic on canvas)
Commissioned as a symbolic work inspired by the universe and constellations, this piece was developed with full creative freedom. The final concept, color palette, and accompanying text emerged in an original direction not initially envisioned by the client, and were ultimately embraced as essential elements of the work.
Man has the impulse to build, to harmonize, to give meaning to chaos. But between creation and creator lies a fragile boundary, just as between destiny and free will hides the mirage of power and the illusion of control. The beauty of this impossible balance — between the infinite that pulses within the finite and the gesture that becomes an echo of creation — drives man to seek his reflection in divinity. Perhaps something is transmitted: a gift, a calling, a vibration that transforms.
Who touches whom? Perhaps the universe is only the instrument. Perhaps the hand on the controls, the one orchestrating it all, is not man’s. Or perhaps it is — but it bears the imprint of the One who touched him.
I called it “Touch of God.”
Witness, 2025
(70x50cm, ink & watercolor on paper)
This time, I’m not sharing a story. Because this story doesn’t belong to me.
It belongs to the one who commissioned the work.
Born from the Fire of Those Before, 2025
(70x50cm, ink & watercolor on paper)
Another voice, carrying the same story.
Told through color, brought to life in a different rhythm.
Together with designer Ruxandra Plaveti, I created the visual universe of the new restaurant Kuchi Sabishii in Bucharest, located on Postelnicului Street (Ion Mihalache area). The project was conceived as a unified experience, where design, illustration, and space naturally complement the atmosphere, while the collaboration with Ruxandra shaped a balance between Japanese influences and contemporary sensitivity.
Here, art is not just decoration, but part of the experience. My works are subtly integrated into the space, accompanying the culinary journey without overpowering it. On display you will find “Margareta-san” and “Laurentiu-san”, alongside other characters waiting to be discovered on site. The visual package also includes “Loredana-san (All is Good)”, even though this piece is not exhibited at Kuchi Sabishii.
Until the official opening, this is a small preview of the Kuchi Sabishii universe. The rest of the story is told at the table
